Postdoctoral Positions Available

One to three postdoctoral positions are immediately available in the Tolia Laboratory at Washington University School of Medicine. These NIH and BWF-funded positions are available to study the structural basis for host-pathogen interactions, antibody neutralization and the mechanisms of drug resistance.

Highly motivated candidates with experience in:

  • X-ray crystallography
  • cryo-electron microscopy
  • protein expression and/or refolding
  • small angle x-ray scattering
  • parasitology
  • bacteriology
  • biophysical interaction studies (ITC, AUC, SPR)

are encouraged to apply by e-mailing a resume, summary of research experience and interests, and names and contact information for two references to Niraj Tolia (tolia@wustl.edu)

The Departments of Molecular Microbiology and Biochemistry & Molecular Biophysics provide state-of-the-art equipment for protein expression, purification and biophysical characterization; dedicated access to remote data collection beamlines for crystallography and SAXS; in house X-ray data collection; and excellent computational facilities.

Graduate Student Rotations

Now accepting graduate students for rotations. Interested individuals are encouraged to e-mail Niraj Tolia (tolia@wustl.edu) for further information.

Undergraduate Research Opportunities

Research opportunities for undergraduates are available throughout the semester and during the highly productive summer break. Highly motivated undergraduates interested in research are encouraged to e-mail a curriculum vitae to Niraj Tolia (tolia@wustl.edu)
